Tips to care for the bridal jewellary

Seek professional help:
All the precious metals are prone to scratch. It’s good to get your jewellary polished regularly if the brides want to maintain its high shine. The option can be finding jeweller trained bench professional for all adjustments, resizing, polishing and cleaning.
Regular cleaning:
Brides can help themselves in cleaning their jewellary by using a mild solution of soap and warm water and gently rub it with a soft cloth; the other option can be finding a cleaning solution.
Avoid wear and tear:
It’s important to remove jewellary when engaged in any kind of manual activities. Avoid placing your Jewellary where other pieces of jewellary end up scratching. Store your pieces either in separate jewellary box or a soft cloth bag.
Keep away from chlorinated water:
Swimming pool water, when lightly chlorinated, shouldn’t be a problem with high quality jewellary, particularly platinum. It is highly advisable to stay away, as when concentrated and exposed to silver or gold jewellary it may begin to have corrosion effect especially when you add the temperature in chlorinated hot tubs.

Keep moisture away:
Water left on jewellary might leave stains. Drying them with a clean cloth after contact will be helpful. If stains remain, applying a small amount of alcohol should remove them. It is advisable not to handle bleach or harsh chemicals when wearing your jewellary.

Taking care of bridal diamond jewellary:
Careful cleaning:
We all are aware that diamond is one of the hardest known natural mineral but when it is set in the form of jewellary it is highly vulnerable to cracking, breakage or spoiling. Hence care should be taken while cleaning them. The best option is to use soft brush, soap and water or you can use an eye brow or even a lipstick brush.
Mild wash:
Before you start cleaning it is advisable to make a mix of warm water and a mild detergent. Then place your diamond jewellary in it. Always use mild cleanser to clean your diamond. Jewellary stores use diluted ammonia to clean with. The easiest way for you to replicate this at home is by using Windex mixed with hot water. The heat in the water will loosen up any oils on the stone.
 Scrub gently:
Soak it for a few minutes and then scrub with the brush. An old tooth brush works best. While giving a rinse to the diamond Jewellary you can use a strainer.
