An event management company takes various
routes to reach their end customers some of them are making an effective
use of social media platform like Facebook, Twitter, M-space and many
more to come. Apart from the use of social media platform, large chunks
of their budget are being spent for sponsoring advertisement,
traditional marketing method or taking advantage through offline route.
Well, the different route followed could be labeled to have following
conditions in their own right, such as financial capabilities of Event
Management Company, resources, their experiences that worked as a guide
to switch from one mode to another and their comfort in hanging with the
one factor that has always paid them in the past.

One may argue the similarities of Pinterest
with that of Tumblr that they are similar in their visual board style
layouts. Well, the differences lie on the origin of the source as it is
not possible to view all the contents of Tumblr on a single page and
thus has to create new blog for new images. Since Tumblr is entirely
into the business of blogging services, it can be inferred that they are
similar with the differences and Event Management Companies should find
opportunities in the online platform like Pinterest apart from making
effective use of platform like Tumblr.

On contrary to the advantages with the use of
Pinterest, the word “caution” is the point to note while dealing with
such sites. Undoubtedly, the site is interesting and fabulous in its
look and usage but at the same time it is giving a tough run to those
whose original work are violated. Some of the photographer and artist do
not give a heed to copyright violation and their argument lies in the
fact that directly or indirectly, these violators are working as a
publicity agents for their products. But not to mention, the grim
scenario can land such agents into serious legal implications thereby
putting more pressure on their purse.
Thus with the advent of new online channels
the advantages can be enormous for the event management company, but my
personal suggestion would end with the one line note is “to handle with
care”.
